Week 3

So I accidentally saved my last log as a draft instead of posting it which is why it was late. Oops. 

This week I learned about arrays through Code Academy, which was pretty useful. I was pretty lazy actually chewing through the course as it was all I learned throughout the whole week, only getting my course completion to 71% but I actually did coding this week! Like, a solid amount of coding too!

As I've mentioned before, a buddy of mine has a bot for discord. I was looking through the commands and saw that one could be optimized with an array, so I spend a total of like, 6ish hours just fixing that up for him. I'll be honest he seemed kind of passive aggressive about me suggesting a change, which I totally get, kind of rude on my part, but yeah, I coded up a mini test program and shot it their way, and much to my satisfaction it worked. I cleaned everything up and sent over the finished product today, gonna see if I guessed the discord.js formatting correctly.

Other than that it was a pretty chill week. Gotta say, I'm a little disappointed the dev log is so short this week.  I'm not gonna be over-optimistic and say I'm gonna outright finish the course next week to try to prevent that or anything but here's hoping that I decide to be more proactive.
